Learning Tree accepts children ages 0 - 12 years old.

We have the following programs currently operating at the center.

Infant room:      0-1 yr

Baby room:        1 yr

Toddler room:   2 yr

Pre-K room:      3-5 yr

School room:    5 yr +

Before School & After School

Summer Program

We are currently only able to accept full-time students other than for the Before & After School programs. We happily accept HeadStart students as full-time enrollees.

Administration reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy.

Learning Tree uses a static fee schedule that is based on enrollment and secures the child's space at the center.  We strive to keep our rates competitive and affordable for families.

Learning Tree requires an enrollment contract with a minimum 2 week notice to withdraw.

Families with multiple children may qualify for a sibling discount.

Learning Tree happily accepts NC Subsidy vouchers for childcare assistance for full-time students if spots are available.  Parents/Guardians must have an active vouchers issued before enrolling.  Contact your local DSS department for information and to apply for NC Subsidy.

Learning Tree participates in the USDA food program to ensure that healthy and nutritious meals are provided to our students.  Food program forms must be filled out for all children at the time of enrollment.  Alternate food plans can be tailored for children with food allergies.

In order to accommodate our children with food allergies, Learning Tree must ask parents that wish to contribute food for special events / parties to check with administration before bringing any outside food to the center.  Children are asked not to bring filled sippy cups with them upon arrival to the center.  Juice, flavored milk, soda, etc. are not allowed.

Learning Tree provides all meals and snacks to children at no cost to the families.  

Infant feeding plans must be completed for any child under 15 months of age at the time of enrollment.  Parents are asked to bring the necessary number of bottles each morning and give to the staff for proper storage.  Bottles must be prepared for single servings and labeled with the child's name and date.  All bottles will be emptied after a single use and all bottles (empty and still full) should be taken home at the end of the day.  Parents may bring baby cereals / infant snacks as indicated on the infant feeding plan.  All foods must be labeled with the child's name and date brought to the center and may not have an expired date.  Infant feeding plans may be updated as needed.

Learning Tree supports parents that breastfeed.  If you breastfeed and wish to come to the center at designated times to feed your baby, please let administration know at enrollment and a plan can be developed.

Learning Tree is committed to providing a safe and healthy learning environment.  The center is equipped with auto-locking doors and cameras (center reserves the right to allow administrative access only to recordings).  We follow all state rules and requirements and are inspected by the health department.  We also maintain an voluntary-enhanced staff-to-child ratio, to make sure your child receives the attention and care they deserve.  All staff receive mandatory background checks before employment and receive health and safety training on an on-going basis.
